If you have completed all of your required courses by August 31, 2024 you may be eligible to graduate during the Fall 2024 Convocation. If it is your intention to graduate, and you have not already applied to do so, please log into Self-Service and Select Graduation Overview.

If you are registered in courses that will count towards your requirements in Fall 2024 or Winter 2025, this application to graduate does not apply to your studies. An email will come out towards the end of November 2024 with next steps for you to graduate.

You need to apply to graduate online no later than August 31, 2024

Before you proceed, please ensure that you are currently in the CORRECT program -including specialization, major, concentration and minor. If you are NOT in the correct program, you must send an email to registration@laurentian.ca providing your name, student number and program change information.  Once you receive confirmation of your program change, you can proceed to apply to graduate online.  Please also ensure that the name to appear on your diploma is correct. We use the names directly as entered to print the degrees.

Please note: The Spring 2024 term is the default term, for internal purposes only, that students must select when applying for the Fall 2024 graduation.

If you do not intend to participate in the Fall 2024 convocation ceremony, you must still apply to graduate online in order to receive your diploma by mail. Be sure to include the appropriate mailing address. If you choose not to attend the ceremony, your name will not be read by the Dean on stage when your program is called.

Please note:  Various fees for convocation.

If you choose not to participate in the ceremony, you will be charged an administrative fee of $40, which includes the mailing of your diploma by courier. The fee must be paid at the time of application. Fees are non-refundable.

If you choose to participate in the ceremony, you will be charged an administrative fee of $76.00, which includes the gown rental and ceremony. Ceremonies will take place Saturday, November 2, 2024. The fee must be paid at the time of application. Fees are non-refundable.

If your account is not paid in full, your diploma will not be released. Your fees should be paid through your bank. Please contact the Fees department in order to make appropriate arrangements to pay off your outstanding balance before Convocation.

If you are eligible to receive a certificate, other than the Certificate of Bilingualism, you must apply for it from the following link:
